It was common in the "good old days" to have two movies
showing the same evening (a double feature) for the same price. Intermissions were definitely important
then. That's where the theater made a lot of its money too. Today they just charge a lot for both admission
and refreshments. Plus, you only get one movie. Less for more. Progress?
